Founder, Owner and Regional Sales Representative, Greg was born and raised in Madison, AL, then graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Horticulture in 1996. He has been working in the landscaping field for thirty years. He began landscaping because “I like seeing the immediate changes landscaping can bring to an area. I also like going back years later and seeing how plants and trees have grown and matured over time.

He enjoys meeting with clients, discussing their needs and exploring possibilities, then bringing their dreams to fruition.

In his time off, Greg likes to watch college football, cook, and travel. He is a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and serves on Madison City Council.

Meet Kim Shaw – owner! Born in Chattanooga, TN., but has called Madison her home since 1986. She graduated from Auburn University in 1997 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, and Florida Institute of Technology with a Master’s of Science in Business Administration in 2010. She has been part of Southern Scape, LLC since 2011.

She is a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, and enjoys spending time with her husband, Greg, two children, Maddie and Reed, and two dogs, Molly and Charles Barkley. She also teaches swim lessons, enjoys being outside, and watching Auburn football.

Amanda Grace has called Huntsville, AL home since 2008. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness Management from Athens State University and an Associate’s degree in Paralegal from Calhoun Community College. She has been in customer service for 13 years.

When not working she can be seen with her fiancé and two puppy dogs. She enjoys being with her family and friends, amusement parks, murder documentaries, and Big Macs.

Born in Huntsville, Alabama and raised in Lincoln County Tennessee. I have 20 years of experience in all things that make up the Landscaping industry. My love for plants and landscape stems back to childhood memories I have helping my grandmother and Great-Grandmother care for their beautiful properties. I have served in multiple capacities from laborer, crew leader, foreman, nursery manager, sales, project, and account management, and even ownership of my own company. When I’m not hard at it, bringing customers’ dreams to reality, I enjoy time with my family, supporting my children at sporting events, coaching, and working in my garden and home landscape.

Sam joined Southern Scape in March 2025, bringing with him over 18 years of experience in sales and leadership. He is dedicated to making every customer interaction meaningful and is known for his strong track record of delivering value with integrity and honesty. Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with his family—his wife, Rebecca, and daughters, Brylee and Ava. He is also actively involved with his church family at Brooklyn Church and is a passionate fan of Alabama football
