Get Off the Fence and Call Us
Fencing is a vital, functional part of your property…we make it beautiful too! The perfect fence offers a lot: privacy, safety, framing, and property-line delineating. Our job is to make it stunning enough that it enhances the curb appeal of your home at the same time. We’ve installed gates, fencing, and custom stone columns at some of the biggest estates in the southeast. We take pride in our precision.
We know what we’re doing and we work with the very best materials. We are committed to perfection and your satisfaction. Trust us to create the fencing you desire!

Our Work
The First Thing a Guest Ever Sees
A fence is a property line; a good fence is architecture. Long before anyone reaches the front door, the entry columns, the gate, and the run of fence along the road have already said something about the place. We build them to say it well: brick and stone columns with proper footings, gates hung so they swing true for decades, fence lines that follow the land instead of fighting it.
Privacy, pets, pool code, or pure curb presence, each job pulls the design a different direction. A backyard fence for a dog asks for one thing; a courtyard wall with an iron gate asks for another entirely. What they share is the part below grade: posts and footings set for our freeze-thaw clay, because a fence is only as straight as what anchors it.
Entries work best as a composition: masonry columns, a drive and walkway that carry the theme, lighting that greets you at night.
The Same Hands Since 1996
Southern Scape has been designing and building across Madison and Huntsville since 1996, over a thousand projects and counting. Licensed and insured crews, a one-year written warranty on workmanship, and a real person answering within a day.
How Fences, Gates & Columns Come Together
Walk the line
We walk the boundary, confirm what the fence must do, and note grades, trees, and sight lines.
The design
Drew Treece matches material and height to the house and the neighborhood, and details the entry as the centerpiece it is.
The build
Footings, posts, panels, and masonry go in under a project manager who keeps the line true and you informed.
The gate swings
We walk the finished run together and stand behind the workmanship for a full year.
Fence & Entry Questions, Answered
Can you match our existing brick or stone?
Nearly always. Matching material and mortar to the house is a point of pride for our masons.
Do you build pool-code fencing?
Yes, height, latching, and spacing built to code, without it looking like a regulation.
How long should a fence last?
Set properly for our freeze-thaw clay, decades. Fences fail from the ground up, which is why we put the care into the part you never see.
Finish the Arrival
